Scholar Saving

This is a constraint  type of savings which a student's parent is given by opening an account in the name of his offspring to provide for his needs during school re-opening. The parent agrees with C.C.A. at the opening of the account of a frequency of payment with a minimum amount. The payments start at the end of the school year and withdrawals are done between August 15 and September 15 of the following academic year.

Opening Conditions:

If the account is in the parent’s name:

  • 02 passport photos;
  • Photocopy of the ID Card;
  • Minimum amount at opening: CFA Francs 35,000;
  • Localization plan.

If the account is in the child’s name:

  • Photocopy of the parent or guardian’s ID Card;
  • Photocopy of the child’s birth certificate;
  • 02  passport photos of the student;
  • 02 parent or guardian’s passport photos;
  • Minimum amount at opening: CFA Francs 35,000;
  • Localization plan.

NB: This account can be used as the basis for a school loan.
